I support the reinstatement of the Superfund Fee. The financial responsibility of cleanup should fall to those who pollute the environment. Without a strong, well-funded Superfund Program, cleanup of the nation’s most hazardous waste sites could come to a standstill. By reinstating the petroleum, chemical, and corporate fee, elected representatives can fulfill their obligation to protect human health, clean air, drinking water, and fishing waterways.
